Professor Wee Joo Chng is Director of the National University Cancer lnstitute, Singapore andGroup Director of Research, at the National University Health System, He is the Provost's ChaitProfessor and Vice-Dean of Research of the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and SeniorPrincipal lnvestigator of the Cancer Science lnstitute of Singapore, at the National University otSingapore.

He is a member of many international professional committees, such as the lnternationaMyeloma Working Group and the Asian Myeloma Network. He is also involved in a number otGrant Review Committees, Conference Organising Committee, Advisory Boards and SteeringCommittees of Global Clinica Trials, He has authored more than 300 publications in manvreputed journals, and actively participates in clinical trials and has delivered talks in manynational and international conferences. He has won multiple awards for his outstandingachievements in translationa research both locally and internationally including theInternational Myeloma Foundation's Brian GM Durie Outstanding Achievement Award, theNational Medical Excellence Outstanding Clinician Scientist Award, the National MedicaResearch Council Senior Translational Research (STaR) Award, the Nationa University ofSingapore Young Researcher Award, and the Celgene Future Leaders in Haematology Award.
